Glen Dhu Wind Farm (2010)

As of June 2011, the 62.1 MW Glen Dhu Wind Farm is the largest wind farm in Nova Scotia. The Wind Farm produces enough power for approximately 18,000 homes. There are 27 turbines in total and Lingan Builders was responsible for 15 of the 27 concrete foundations, which included approximately 7,000 yards of concrete and 540 tons of steel rebar.
Statia Wind Farm (2009/2010)
Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia

Statia Wind Farm produces enough emissions-free electricity to serve about 6,000 homes. There were eleven 80-metre-high turbines added to the existing Statia site in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. Lingan was responsible for all 11 concrete foundations on this site with a total of approximately 6,400 yards of concrete and 500 tons of steel rebar.
Glace Bay/Lingan Wind Farm (2006)

Nine units dot the coastline near the NSPI Lingan generating station, producing 42 gigawatt hours of electricity annually, enough energy to power about 6,000 homes. This is Cape Breton’s first wind farm with a total of 9 turbines in place. Lingan was responsible for all 9 concrete bases, as well as a substation to handle the power.
